Our Story

A Fountain Of Youth Inc is a non-for-profit that was initially inspired by a young boy named Aeden who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Today the organization aims to broaden awareness, and bridge the gap, for kids with disabilities.

About DMD

DMD is a neuromuscular, muscle-wasting disease resulting from a gene mutation that results in a lack of dystrophin, which is crucial for muscle tissue health. DMD eventually results in loss of motor, pulmonary, and cardiac function, as well as a significantly shortened life-expectancy.

Our Mission

Many families are impacted by the demanding health and mobilities changes that are associated with DMD and other disabilities. Job and household income loss or reduction due to the demanding health needs, medical bills, and necessary supplies required to accommodate this lifestyle can be debilitating. Through awareness, support, and your donations, we can help make everyday living with a disability more manageable.
